To ensure that the game is always playable, MLB The Show 25 will make regular updates to each major mode. Most of these updates are released in the form of programs, which are designed to allow you to earn new XP and MLB 25 stubs rewards by completing built-in tasks.
Among them, as one of the most important modes, MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty will launch a new Inning Program every month or so. And these more formal programs will bring new reward paths, including MLB The Show 25 stubs, XP, and player cards.
Based on this, this time we will introduce you to the content of 4th Inning Program launched in early June, and focus on the player cards that are worth having.
All 3 Boss Cards
Although you don’t need to “beat” these boss players like playing MMORPGs, this title undoubtedly reflects their strength from the side. They are Derek Jeter, Hank Greenberg, and Nolan Ryan.
Derek Jeter
As the backbone of Yankees, Jeter was nominated for All-Star in 1999 season and became an excellent contact hitter with his contact hits of 120/108 to the right and left, respectively. In addition, his power hits of 80/82 to the right and left respectively also proved that he has reliable jumping ability.
On the defensive side, Jeter surpassed most players, including Hammerin’ Hank (Hank Aaron) with his strong arm and more than 70 points in defense and reaction ability. It can be said that if you get him through this program, you will get a lot of help.
Hank Greenberg
From the performance of 104/109 power hits in 1938 season, Greenberg is definitely a very good heavy hitter, but the data of 94/90 shows that he is slightly lacking in contact ability. And in the key points of hitting, Greenberg’s score of 95 is also slightly inferior to Jeter’s 120 points.
Nolan Ryan
During 1977 All-Star Game, Ryan had already made 11 starts before the end of June, with double-digit strikeouts, and even 14 by All-Star Game, just one strikeout away from 10 consecutive strikeouts.
Although his strikeout rate has dropped slightly for various reasons, at least in MLB The Show 25, his card is still very strong: 112 endurance, 101 hits/9 innings, 102 strikeouts/9 innings, and 108 pitching key points, etc.
As for Ryan’s shortcomings, they are mainly reflected in control: 55 walks/9 innings and 65 control. But to be honest, the advantages of this card are too prominent, so this shortcoming actually is not noticeable.
These three boss players have their own strengths, and generally speaking, Hank Greenberg’s strength is slightly worse. However, you can only get two of them for free in 4th Inning Program, unless you get 440,000 XP in the end.
All 3 Cornerstone Evolution Players
The three players are Eric Davis, Craig Kimbrel, and Marcus Semien. To get their cards, you need to unlock their 85 OVR versions in 4th Inning Program reward path, and then complete the corresponding Cornerstone Evolution to get the ultimate 92 OVR card.
Of the three, Kimbrel’s pitching clutch is already maxed out, so he should be the most suitable flame-throwing reliever. In contrast, Davis’s pitching ability has long passed its peak. As for Semien, it is a card suitable for the later career. The overall ability is good but lacks outstanding advantages.
It is worth noting that in addition to the boss player and Cornerstone Evolution player, there is also a 93 OVR card belonging to Adam Dunn in 4th Inning Program XP reward path. The maxed-out power against right-handed pitchers makes him enough to be your ideal left-handed relief player.
May Spotlight Program
In addition to the main reward path, 4th Inning Program also has a new May Spotlight program built in, giving you the opportunity to get more powerful player cards! EasyGaming – EZG will select a few of the more important ones for you to introduce.

Bryce Harper
Although Harper has a 110/100 contact rate, 107/93 batting power, 112 batting key points, and 10 skills that can handle most game situations, his weak defense and speed make him only an ordinary right fielder on the field when he is not at home.
Although this flaw is nothing compared to the advantages and the high OVR of 94, the real fatality is that this card requires 500,000 MLB 25 stubs to have a chance to get it. To be honest, most players should find it difficult to accept.
Tarik Skubal
Compared to Harper, Skubal, the best player of the month in Lightning, can be obtained for free. You only need to complete May Spotlight drop program on time every week to unlock five unsellable cards and put them into Lightning collection to unlock Skubal.
But to be honest, although the overall rating is also as high as 94, his performance is a bit mediocre, because the other data on the card are not over 100. But based on past performance, it is hard to say whether this is because he has indeed lacked a little good luck in the past month.
Other Players
James Wood’s data performance of 103/113 touch rate and 90/93 power rate makes him even comparable to Harper, and Wood’s batting rate in the key moments is also the highest, which is a good enough performance for a 22-year-old player.
Another eye-catching young player, Caminero, as a main third baseman, is also a substitute for the second baseman and shortstop. He fully demonstrated his strength through a power rate of 100/115, a batting rate of 110 in the key moments, and a touch rate of more than 90.
The above are some players worth getting from this 4th Inning Program. Although they are not perfect, they all have their own unique advantages. As long as you arrange them reasonably, they can bring you more victories!
